Six-Ingredient Cinnamon Sugar Candied Nuts

Six-Ingredient Cinnamon Sugar Candied Nuts

Today’s recipe is Six-Ingredient Cinnamon Sugar Candied Nuts. It’s a tasty, sweet, spiced, and slightly salty snack that’s crunchy and just a little sticky to the touch. They are really addictive!

So addictive, in fact, that my husband tried to eat a second batch straight out of the oven. I’m not sure he learned his lesson about waiting for things to cool down.

In addition, these nuts take very little time to prepare and are easily scaled up (or down) to make as much as you desire.

They’re a delightful treat to take as a quick snack to work, on a road trip, or on a quick hike.

These candied mixed nuts also make a fantastic edible gift that’s perfect to give to family and friends for the holidays!

I hope you enjoy this recipe!

(Full ingredient amounts and instructions available in the recipe card down below)

Whisk together the egg whites and vanilla extract until frothy (top-left photo).

Fold in the mixed nuts so that they are well-coated with the egg white mixture (second photo).

In another bowl, combine together the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and ground ginger (not shown). Add it to the bowl of mixed nuts and fold together until evenly mixed (third photo).

Place the nuts onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet and spread into a single layer (a little overlap is fine) (top-left photo).

Bake at 300 degrees for 25-30 minutes, flipping and stirring halfway through, until the nuts are golden and shiny (top-right photo). Let it cool on the baking sheet before eating.
