What is better than pork sausage? Bacon-wrapped sausages. Sure they’re indulgent, but you need to treat yo self once in awhile. It gives the meal an additional smoky, salty, umami flavour, which is so delicious.
I didn’t include it in this recipe, but you can also sprinkle a little brown sugar on top of the sausage and let it caramelized to add a little sweetness. Sliced pieces would be a great appetizer.
As for the veggie sides, garlic parmesan is one of my all-time favourite combinations and it goes perfectly with roasted vegetables, especially potatoes and asparagus! With roasting, the potatoes end up crispy and brown on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside; the asparagus turn out light brown and tender.
I love the crispy, brown bits of garlic and parmesan from the roast; it is crunchy, cheesy, garlicky magic, which you just can’t leave in the pan.
This sheet pan meal is awesome for those days where you don’t want to devote too much time in the kitchen, but you get amazing, scrumptious results in less than a hour! Now onto the recipe.
Mise en place {see Ingredients for amounts}. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with foil. Wrap bacon slices around the sausages.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except sausages and bacon.
Place potatoes and bacon-wrapped sausages in a single layer on the baking sheet. Roast for 25 minutes.
Flip potatoes and sausages. Add asparagus so that everything is in a single layer.
Roast for another 15-20 minutes.
Roasted goodness! Plate and enjoy!

The flavours! This sounds amazing! Especially when the Parmesan cheese caramelizes with the asparagus and crispy potatoes. Great idea with the brown sugar for caramelization too! Salty and brown and sweet. Yummy! :)

Mmmm... bacon wrapped sausage. And I bet the drippings from the bacon and sausage give incredible flavour to the potatoes and asparagus. That is a lot of goodness going on in a one sheet dinner. Nice!
